About LetterToAsorock.com

Letter to AsoRock is a platform that we created to answer the president's call for mindset change and patriotism during his campaign. He asked us to think of what we can do for our country. We believe that the citizens have valuable ideas that can improve Nigeria, but they may not be able to reach the government agencies that can execute them. That's why we designed a portal that enables citizens to share their ideas or proposals in a clear and effective way, avoiding the bureaucratic process. This way, we can engage with the government and contribute to our country's progress. Please spread the word on social media and with your friends. As we continued, we also added the feature to rate cabinet ministers. The aim of this activity is to inform the ministers how they are performing among Nigerians and how to enhance their work.

This ongoing survey is open to all Nigerians, whether they live in Nigeria or abroad, to vote with their feedback to the ministers of their choice. We understand that respondents may have an interest in more than one minister, so we made it possible for them to respond to more than one minister

For future analysis, the survey collects respondents' political affiliations and demographics. The main reason for this is to see how these factors may influence the survey results.

The survey does not check whether respondents are registered voters or not. The margin of error will differ by political affiliations and state of origin.

In each poll, Nigerians expressed their approval or disapproval of the job performance of their ministers. For each question, they could choose Strongly agree, Agree, Neither agree nor disagree, Disagree, or Strongly disagree with the questions or statements presented to them.

LetterToAsorock.com obtained a current list of ministers and political appointees from various sources online, i.e., Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (https://www.osgf.gov.ng/ministries/), Wikipedia, newspaper websites, BBC's website, etc. and such information is digitized on the Lettertoasorock.com portal. Survey respondents were not matched to their constituent's senators. However, the state of origin and political affiliation may affect the overall outcome of the survey.

We applied post-stratification weights based on state of origin, State of residence, and political affiliation.Ministries – OSGFhttps://www.osgf.gov.ng
